The spectacular acrobatics and performance art impressed me greatly. I saw Harriet The Spy many, many, many years ago in Boston at a different place and it was more like a three ring circus with all kinds of performances going on and on. During the August 30, 2009 event, my disappointment arose during the clown routines. I understand that perhaps the addition of the "clown skits" and "ring master" in between the performances was needed so that the other performers could prepare in the background. I found myself thinking "I paid $80 bucks for this !?!?!?" There were a few "funny things" during those performances, but I really felt that the show itself had really "downsized." All in all, it was an amazing show, however, as the saying goes, not like it used to be.
